Nourishing Almond & Makhana Milk Premix

Ingredients for Premix

  • 200g almonds
  • 100g makhana (fox nuts), roasted in air fryer
  • 50g watermelon seeds
  • 50g poppy seeds
  • Mishri, as per taste

Method

Step 1: Roast the Makhana

Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Add the makhana and air fry for 5–7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they become crisp and lightly golden.

Step 2: Prepare the Ingredients

Allow the roasted makhana to cool completely. Measure out the almonds, watermelon seeds, poppy seeds, and roasted makhana.

Step 3: Blend into a Powder

Add all the ingredients to a blender or grinder. Blend until you get a smooth, fine powder.

Step 4: Store the Premix

Pour the prepared premix into a clean, airtight glass jar. Store in a cool, dry place for easy use whenever needed.


How to Prepare the Milk

  1. Boil 1 cup low-fat milk in a pot.
  2. Add 1 spoon of the premix.
  3. Stir well and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Serve warm.

Serving Suggestion

Sprinkle a little cinnamon or crushed almonds on top for a café-style touch.
